About The Channel

Hi, Maverick3 here.  Welcome to The #Chat_pub Web Page.  I am the manager of the pub.  This channel is made for people of all ages, from people just old enough to type upwards.  I have many channel operators (people with a @ sign in front of their nick) to ensure that the channel is safe for younger people and to make sure all people obey the rules.  These people have the power to kick offendors or for continual offences even ban people.  This means that you can not get back into the channel untill the ban is lifted.  To make sure you are not breaching any rules please go to the #chat_pub rules page.  Any OP abuse or unfair use of their powers is to be reported to me, You can E-Mail me at the bottom of the page or click here, I will try my hardest to resolve the situation ASAP.

The channel is on Austnet.  You will need to select Austnet in the mIRC set up menu (this should come up when you first get into mIRC).  If you don't have mIRC you can download by clicking here.  The download is free but the management of mIRC ask that you to pay a $US20 fee after 30 days.  It doesn't expire after that time, but does remain unregistered.  This is NOT a demo version and should be the latest version available at the time of download.  More info is available at the mIRC homepage http://www.mirc.co.uk/
